Bangsar is a haven of good eateries and incredible food, and a perpetual favorite revisited by many from around the world is Nutmeg, a gem of a café tucked away in Bangsar Village II. Constantly bustling with customers meeting, greeting, and dining in glee, Nutmeg runs on a constant high of merrymaking.
Since its opening back in 2013, with a growing clientele of both near and far, Nutmeg serves up a dangerously delicious array of heavy, hearty meals, from all-day breakfast options that will carry you through the day in a happy, glowing daze, to a wide selection of pasta dishes that will have you heading back for more.
However, it’s almost too hard to concentrate on anything other than dessert, considering the glistening glass display welcomes you right at the front of this modern yet homely establishment. Filled with temptations stacked tall and proud, each of Nutmeg’s cakes conveys a sense of strong and confident desire, yet oozing with comfort and pure luxury. The After8 chocolate mint cake will have you feeling minty fresh, while the old school Oreo cheesecake will make you want to wrap yourself up in a warm blanket and just eat the night away. Lighter options include the Orange Walnut Chocolate Chip Chiffon (yes it’s a mouthful!) cake, and the beautifully refreshing Mango Mille Feuille. The Lychee NY Cheesecake is a bountiful wonder on its own, and you can’t go wrong with an order of Nutmeg’s Blackforest cake.
