Tokyo Secret Malaysia Hanjuku Cheese Tart
Posted by Eat Cake Today on
It’s no secret that Tokyo Secret Malaysia has made its way into the hearts and tummies of many local dessert lovers. Highly recognized for the most decadent of baked cheese tarts, Tokyo Secret Malaysia is well worth the long queues that define its success since opening its doors at Ikano Power Centre in May of this year, and due to overwhelming response, they’ve opened a kiosk at 1 Utama Shopping Centre, equally shrouded by daily queues that linger in the aromatic scent of freshly baked goods.
So what’s the big deal about these cheese tarts? Well, for one, these rich Hanjyuku (half-baked) cheese tarts have a molten core of flavorful melted cheese when served fresh from the oven. Then there’s that perfectly baked, brown crust that flakes with each bite, bringing the most harmonious balance of creamy cheese and firm, biscuit-like crust. And if you’re not a fan of the gooey feel of molten cheese (but then again, who isn’t?!), these bad boys firm up to be pretty damn good upon wait as well. Seriously, it’s the dessert that keeps on giving!
Apart from the most gorgeous of cheese tarts, Tokyo Secret Malaysia also serves up some mean soft serves. Let your tastebuds succumb to a winter wonderland with the Fujiyama Winter, a Hokkaido milk soft serve topped with blueberry sauce and white chocolate flakes, or heat things up with the Maple Volcano, a hazelnut soft serve with air-dried raspberries, finished with a fog-like effect for play.
Whet your appetite for cheesy delight at Tokyo Secret Malaysia, located at G23, Ikano Power Centre, or on the 2nd Floor of High Street, 1 Utama Shopping Centre (just opposite Haagen Dazs). You can also follow them for more updates on their stock availability at www.facebook.com/tokyosecretmalaysia.
