Great cake to get for those who don't like fruit or chocolate! They didn't skimp on the honey and earl grey flavours, which is fantastic because you get this lovely balance of very floral and citrus-sy notes from both. There's biscuit bits in between the cake layers, which I thought was interesting choice until it clicked (what this cake was all about): Tea and biscuits! so I suppose this makes it a "British"-inspired cake eh? Such a clever easter egg, in a cake!
I ordered this cake on the New Year’s Eve and I was quite disappointed with the cake it was very dry and the taste was not nice at all this is not the first time I order from you however this was extremely shocking to us it was to celebrate a special occasion and we ended up not eat from it at all!
I bought the cake for a 75 year old's Birthday. And of course, most of the attendees were elderlies. Everyone loved the cake. All commented that it was not too sweet and the subtle touch of Earl Grey is perfect.
