From homemade food blogger to one of the biggest names in the local desserts and pastries market, Xiao by Crustz has gone for and wide to make its much-deserved mark. Founder and trained pastry chef Xiao-Ly, who graduated from the Academy of Pastry Arts, Malaysia, started baking and catering for the masses from her home kitchen. Her brand spread so swiftly that she soon found herself expanding into a studio in the trendy confines of Centrio at Bangsar South, catering to appointments for custom orders and catering tastings.
Because their creations have that added panache to their presentations, custom cakes are Xiao by Crustz’s specialty The cake list ranges from chocolate cream ombre cake made ideal for that special someone’s birthday, to classic peanut butter chocolate sponge cake to impress a dinner party with, to extravagantly decorated wedding cakes that have been featured in many amazing wedding events around Klang Valley.
