Finding one’s true path isn’t as easy as it sounds, but there are the rare few of us who manage, and manage well. For Su-Mene, a lawyer by profession, it wasn’t always about cakes. However, on her journey towards self-discovery, her career path shifted, and eventually brought her pasttime of baking into a business venture to call her own. It was then, back in 2004, that Su’s Cakes for Kicks was established.

From home-based bakery, to a shopfront in Farenheit 88 along Jalan Bukit Bintang, Su’s Cake for Kicks serves a variety of specialty cheesecakes. Some of the stars include the Durian Cheesecake, a creamy delight for the pungent fruit lovers, the Belgian Dark Chocolate Cheesecake, a smooth dark chocolate beauty blended with cheese to form a smooth perfection, and the Lychee Cheesecake, a refreshingly sweet treat for those long, hot days.

Su also serves old-fashioned favorites, such as Carrot Cake with lemon cream cheese frosting, the buttery Pineapple Upside Down Cake with fresh pineapple slices, and richly thick brownies by the slices.
