The cake was tasty, it was less sweet but would echo a prior review…the icing used on the outer part of the cake was a bit heavy and didn’t really taste so good compared what was in the layers of the cake.
Good quality ingredients used. Cream inside the cake tasted better than the outside cake frosting. Personally wished it was lighter.
I bought the cake for a 75 year old's Birthday. And of course, most of the attendees were elderlies. Everyone loved the cake. All commented that it was not too sweet and the subtle touch of Earl Grey is perfect.
The cake is very delicious, the texture is great, and the design is beautiful.
