The other reviews mentioned it was amazing so naturally I was expecting more. Could be just my girlfriend and I but we couldn't really taste the aroma nor flavor of earl grey in the cake. The cream I believe they added salt into it so that was pretty much all I tasted. Had to try very hard before I got to taste a bit of the earl grey.

The moisture is perfect encapsulated in an Earl Grey aroma that simply tickles my palate with colonial charms of the glorious empire days. We loved the earl grey cake. It is moist and not sweet. Compact yet not dry. Inside out taste superb. By the way, the topping is not salted caramel. Recommend for elder who can't take sweet cake and fit for the occasion including the youngsters loved them too. :-d
